What You Will Do

The IT & Business Intelligence Lead owns all core business systems and data environments, ensuring secure, scalable, and connected operations. This role builds dashboards and insights that drive smarter decisions, while managing IT systems, cloud infrastructure, and data pipelines.

Responsibilities:

Build and automate BI dashboards using tools such as Power BI, Looker, or Tableau for recurring analysis and real-time visibility.
Translate complex business questions into structured analyses, delivering insights that drive strategy and performance improvement.
Report on KPIs such as Profitability by SKU and marketplace, pricing trends, Customer lifetime value (LTV), new vs. returning cohort, operational efficiency, forecasting accuracy, and inventory health.
Enable self-service analytics by empowering teams to access data independently.
Connect and integrate with e-commerce marketing platforms such as Meta, Google, and TikTok to enable data flow, performance tracking, and automated reporting.
Partner with Growth and Operations teams to provide forecasting support, trend analysis, and operational insights.
Analyze customer buyer behavior, LTV patterns, and retention cohorts to inform marketing and pricing strategy.
Provide clear storytelling, visuals, and recommendations for executive audiences.
Act as the sole data and analytics leader, bridging business and technology functions.
Collaborate closely with leadership, Amazon channel teams, marketing, and operations to align on data priorities.
Maintain documentation, data definitions, and metric governance to ensure consistent reporting across the organization.
Manage admin rights and integrations across Google Workspace, Shopify, Amazon, NetSuite, Base44, and 3PL platforms. Implement role-based access, maintain audit logs, and handle all onboarding/offboarding processes.
Enforce MFA, password policies, and security audits while ensuring compliance with GDPR/CCPA and retail partner requirements.
Oversee cloud storage, backups, and disaster recovery; secure APIs, VPN, and network access.
Serve as the central contact for IT vendors, track software licenses and renewals, control SaaS sprawl, and manage equipment as financial assets.
Lead technical system rollouts (e.g., NetSuite), coordinate integrations across commerce and logistics platforms, and maintain test environments for safe deployment.
Provide tiered IT support, manage ticketing and hardware provisioning, and standardize systems across teams.
Maintain data integrity and permissions across analytics and operational systems such as Looker and BigQuery.
Develop long-term IT strategy, forecast team growth needs, and provide regular reports on system health, risks, and improvements.
Design, set up, and maintain the company's data warehouse, integrating datasets from Amazon Seller Central, Amazon Ads, inventory management systems and other retailer platforms
Evaluate current data architecture — determine what exists today, identify gaps, and propose a long-term scalable solution.
Build and manage ETL pipelines for continuous, automated ingestion of marketplace, advertising, and operational data.
Ensure data integrity, consistency, and accuracy across all systems.
