What You Will Do

As the Executive Director of the EO Colorado Chapter, you will be the main and primary leader ensuring the chapter runs smoothly, efficiently, and in alignment with EO Global standards. Reporting to the Chapter President and Past Presidents’ Council, this independent contractor role (Nov 1, 2025 – Jan 31, 2028) requires an estimated 25–40 hours per week, with some evening and weekend commitments. You will play a critical role in maintaining continuity, institutional knowledge, and compliance while driving the execution of the Chapter’s strategic plans. While working closely with the EO Colorado Chapter Board, the Executive Director acts as a strategic partner and primary manager, ensuring chapter communications, EO Global alignment, and seamless execution of programs, events, and initiatives.

Who You Are

You are an operations and administrative professional with experience in program or nonprofit management. Known for your strong communication skills and high emotional intelligence, you thrive in building relationships and providing exceptional support to leaders, members, and partners. You bring proven expertise in event and project management and a systems-minded approach to creating and following SOPs. You’re adaptable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends, to ensure seamless execution of chapter activities and events. In a perfect world, you have prior experience in “community-based” organizations with a lot of constituents who need herding, serving, engaging and accommodating.
