B&M Craft Spirits LLC (BMCS) is passionate about creating approachable and inclusive beverage alcohol brands that form strong emotional connections with consumers. The company’s first product, Duke & Dame Salted Caramel Whiskey, is a multi-award-winning and 100% natural flavored whiskey that is redefining the whiskey drinking experience with an amazing aroma, a layered and complex palate, an uncommonly smooth and long finish, and only 1 gram of sugar per serving.
Since launching the brand in Florida in 2018, we have expanded Duke & Dame’s distribution into New York, Michigan, Maryland, Washington DC, and the Caribbean (Puerto Rico, Jamaica, Aruba, Turks & Caicos, Cayman Islands and USVI), as well as onto Carnival and Royal Caribbean cruise ships.
The Area Sales Manager at Duke & Dame will play a pivotal role in overseeing on and off-premise sales, distributor management, and driving distribution within the assigned territory. Key responsibilities include representing the Duke & Dame brand, cultivating strong relationships with distributors and key decision-makers, and ensuring clear communication through various channels. The Area Sales Manager will act as the primary contact for distributor sales teams, driving brand education and ensuring alignment with local objectives. Meeting or exceeding sales and distribution goals, managing inventory levels, and driving brand visibility in both on and off-premise accounts are integral to the role. The Area Sales Manager will strategize account visits, execute promotional support, and oversee pricing, placement, and merchandising activities. Acting as a brand ambassador, maintaining awareness of competitive activity, and providing regular reporting and analysis will contribute to the overall success of Duke & Dame within the territory.
We're seeking a dynamic and experienced Area Sales Manager within the spirits industry. The ideal candidate is outgoing, passionate, and adept at building brands in both on and off-premise retail settings. Adaptability to entrepreneurial, hands-on, and remote work environments is crucial, along with exceptional organizational and strategic thinking skills. Effective communication, strong persuasion abilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point are essential. The candidate must have a valid driver's license, the ability to lift up to 35 pounds, and a commitment to working flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Familiarity with state compliance and liquor laws. As well as having a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
