AbiMar Foods is an established leader in the food manufacturing space, producing high-quality cookies, crackers, and other snack foods for retail and private label customers.
What You Will Do
Reporting to the CEO as Director of Grocery Sales, you will strategically support and expand AbiMar’s brands with major chains. You will build brand awareness, provide best-in-class customer support, achieve excellent sales planning as well as develop and execute the go-to-market strategy for this channel. You are an innovative and creative sales leader who can create opportunities for growth, work independently to solve challenges, but also work well cross-functionally to fully utilize AbiMar’s and Gupo Nutresa’s resources to develop, establish, and maintain key sales relationships and growth strategies to meet organizational sales objectives. You will build a value-added sales strategy, ensuring thorough sales follow up, as well as automation through new tools. You’ll guide and coach a team of two Regional Sales Managers, developing their capabilities and ensuring alignment to company objectives, while keeping a close pulse on market trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics.
Who You Are
You are a seasoned CPG sales leader with deep experience selling into conventional grocery retail, ideally combining the rigor of large-scale national account management with the agility of a high-growth, entrepreneurial brand. You bring a proven track record of securing and growing national accounts, building value-added go-to-market strategies, and negotiating at the highest levels with retailers. Hands-on and analytical, you balance strategic vision with the ability to dig into data, manage budgets, and optimize trade investments. You are a collaborative leader who thrives in cross-functional environments, inspires and develops teams, and communicates effectively across cultures and levels. Highly motivated and resilient, you are energized by the opportunity to grow Abimar’s grocery presence and deliver results in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
